Research Plan

We are going to ideate about features and what MoneyMentor can be. Then we filter those ideas and create a Low Fidelity Prototype, which we will present to our Users (n=5) with the Wizard of Oz Method, and then improve our LFP to a Mid-Fidelity Prototype with the suggestions/tips we gather from our Users. This Mid-Fidelity Prototype is then evaluated again to have a strong basis going into the final prototype.

• The User takes a survey when first opening the mentor app
• The User might edit its preferences after defining its profile
• CONSIDER: The User can follow other users’ (Friends, relatives) financial decisions with the bot (trade tracker)
• Auto-Invest option
• Test account (fictional money) where the user can make some fake investments with fake money
• The User can put boundaries on the stocks he buys, so when it reaches a certain price it cashes out
• Leverage method?? Loan method??
• The User can pay its bills directly with the stocks/crypto (do not need to withdraw to pay)
• Construct the chat bot as a person who is talking to you
• Construct it like ChatGPT
• Chat bot as an extra function in the app
• Chat bot as main part of the app
• Chat bot with voice communication
